GPRS Safety System
You will also learn how to use the GPRS safety system, which is a feature that protects you and your jet ski from collisions and accidents. The GPRS safety system will automatically slow down your jet ski if you come too close to another jet ski or to the rocky shores, preventing injuries and damages. You will also be advised to stay within the designated zone and to follow the instructions of our operators at all times. Do I need a licence to rent a jet ski in Malta?
No, in case you are renting one of our Jetskis, you will be able to legally operate it for the duration of booking, provided that you are over 18 years of age.
What are the prices for renting a jetski at Aquamarine.mt in Golden Bay Malta?
Aquamarine.mt offers single seater jetski rentals for €70 and double seater jetski rentals for €85 at Golden Bay in Malta. Additionally, they offer a guided jetski safari around Comino with a swimming stop for €175 for the single seater and €195 for the double seater. This thrilling safari takes 1.5 hours and is the perfect way to explore the stunning surroundings.
What happens if weather conditions affect our scheduled activities at Aquamarine.mt
At Aquamarine.mt, we prioritize the safety of our customers. If weather conditions are not suitable for your scheduled water sports activity, we will either reschedule your activity for a later date or refund your payment, whichever option you prefer. Our experienced staff closely monitors weather conditions to ensure that all activities are conducted in safe conditions. What is the age requirement to ride on a jet ski?
The driver of the jet ski has to be at least 18 years old, there is no age requirement for the passenger however we don’t recommend children under 7 to join.
Can the passenger drive also?
It’s possible if the passenger is 18+
I have two kids, can I swap them on the jet ski for 10 min each?
Yes, it’s possible however you would lose a lot of time going in and outside the jet ski zone
What's the minimum age to drive the jet ski?
The driver must be 18+

The minimum age of the passenger is 7+
Can I fall from the Jetski?
It’s very unlikely to fall from the jet ski
Will I be alone on the sea?
There’s always a safety instructor observing all the jet skis.
If I'm under 18 year-old can I drive the jet ski?
By yourself you are not allowed to drive, however we can provide you an instructor that will drive the jet ski with you.
What things can I do with a Jetski in Malta?
We offer a 20 or 30 minute Jetski Rental in our bay or a 1.5 hour guided Jet ski safari around Comino.
We do not offer full day rentals.
Can I drive the jet ski even if I don’t know how to swim?
Even if you don’t know how to swim you can still drive the jet ski. We will provide life jackets, and to ensure safety there will be always a safety instructor observing you.
How many people can be on the jet ski?
The jetski can fit 1 or 2 people maximum
Can I bring my glasses/hat on the jetski?
It’s recommended not to take glasses or hat on the jet ski, as you might lose them. However we sell sun glass straps that secure your sunglasses to your head.
